Business Disputes & Fraud
Each year, businesses and individuals are robbed of millions of dollars by individuals and businesses claiming that it is “just business.” We added a business contingency fee practice because we were tired of hearing from small businesses and individuals that they walked away after they were wronged because they were concerned about the cost of litigation and the legal fees they might incur. They were nervous about the time that litigation could take, and the potential risk – even small risk – of losing. We do things differently. We take business litigation on a contingency fee basis, and we only get paid if we prevail in the lawsuit. If we do not win your case, we don’t get paid. We fight back on your behalf. If more lawyers did this, maybe companies would think twice about incorporating bad practices into their business practices. The types of cases we handle include:
- Breach of contact
- Failure to pay royalties or profit sharing payments
- Fraud
- Breach of Fiduciary Duty
- Corporate shareholder and minority shareholder disputes
- Theft of intellectual property
- Partnership disputes
- Business insurance disputes
- Executive employment disputes
- Business agreement review and consultation under fixed-fee arrangements on a case-by-case basis
